What to Expect at a GT Games Trading Card Game Event
Our Trading Card Game (TCG) events atĀ GT GamesĀ are structured, casual tournaments designed to be welcoming, social, and fun for players of all experience levels.
We use professional tournament software to organize player pairings into round-by-round matchups. Each round, youāll be paired against another player and compete using your deck. As the event progresses, the software tracks standings and determines new matchups based on results ā no need to worry about organizing anything yourself, we handle it all!
Ā Prizes, Points & Bragging Rights
Players compete for:

Prize support (boosters, store credit, or other rewards depending on the event)

Bragging rights

In some games, official tournament points added to your player profile (if supported by the publisher)
Admission fees go directly toward the prize pool. The more players who join, the bigger the prize support becomes ā making every event community-driven and exciting.
Ā Weekly āLocalsā
Many of our events are recurring weekly tournaments (often called ālocalsā). These are scheduled at the same time each week for specific games, giving players a consistent place to practice, improve, and connect with the local community.
Ā Do I Need to Bring a Deck?
Event details will always specify the format:
